Temporary Credit Controller – Immediate Start (4 Week Contract)
Location: Office based in Birmingham city centre
£13.45 - £16 per hour (paid weekly)

At TeacherActive, we’re looking for a Temporary Credit Controller to support our Finance team for a 4 week period. You’ll play a key part in maintaining excellent financial administration and ensuring positive relationships with clients across the education sector.
The Role: Temporary Credit Controller
Reporting into the Team Leader, your main focus will be ensuring invoices are paid on time and maintaining strong communication with clients to resolve queries efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own ledger of client accounts
- Making outbound calls to chase unpaid invoices and discuss payment plans
- Sending statements, remittances, and email reminders when needed
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries alongside internal teams
- Updating records to ensure accurate financial tracking
What We’re Looking For
- Previous credit control experience is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident making outbound calls to clients regarding payments
- Excellent organisation and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Positive attitude and a team focused approach
Contract & Working Hours
This is a 4-week temporary position, starting immediately.
Full-time, office-based in Birmingham City Centre.
